Emma Jean Cockerham

Ms. Emma Jean Cockerham, age 81, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in her home. She was born November 7, 1936 in Wilkes County to Paul and Myrtle Pearl Simmons Wood.

She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and retired from Village Hair Design where she was a hair dresser.

Ms. Cockerham was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sister, Arlene Dietz and husband Allan of State Road; and niece, Paula Cooke of Hamptonville.

A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mitch Smith officiating.
