Mr. William Dewitt “Dub” Blackburn, age 80, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Blackburn was born June 2, 1938 in Wilkes County to William C. and Ruth Simmons Blackburn.
Mr. Blackburn was a member of Rocky Ford Baptist Church and retired from Chatham Manufacturing.
Mr. Blackburn was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include: his wife, Nancy Moody Blackburn of the home; son, William Keith Blackburn and wife Judy of Elkin; and sister, Iva Lee West of Kernersville.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
