Pete Davis

Forrest “Pete” Keith Davis, age 60, of Elkin passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his home. Mr. Davis was born on June 7, 1958 in Rockingham County to Albert and Ruth Jackson Davis.

Mr. Davis was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired groundskeeper for Vulcan. Pete graduated from Elkin High School , and Wilkes Community College with a degree in music

Pete was preceded in death by his father and brother, Bret Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Davis of the home; mother, Ruth Davis of Elkin; daughter, Shannon Vestal of West Virginia; and brother, Greg Davis of Daytona Beach, FL.

A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, where he will be buried with full military honors.
