Debbie Lynn Simmons Ring

Mrs. Debbie Lynn Simmons Ring, age 57, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Ring was born October 14, 1958 in Surry County to Boyd Franklin and Frankie Lee Hawkins Simmons.

Mrs. Ring was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church of Hamptonville.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her uncle, Larry Medley.

Survivors include: her father, Boyd Franklin Simmons of Traphill; husband, Jerry W. Ring of Hamptonville; sisters, Tammy Handy of Roaring River and Tina Hanley of Anchorage, Alaska;mother-in-law, Lodemia Luffman; sisters-in-law, Kay Ring Tolbert, Yvonne Ring Cline and Patty Jo Woodruff; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
