Harold Lee Dinwiddie

Mr. Harold L. Dinwiddie, age 76 of Thurmond, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Dinwiddie was born December 27, 1939 in Norfolk, Virginia to Harold George Dinwiddie and Mildred Scarborough Dinwiddie. Mr. Dinwiddie was a retired telephone subcontractor and a Veteran of the US Army. Survivors include: his wife, Annette R. Dinwiddie of the home; sons, Brian Dinwiddie and his wife Trish of Hawaii and Steven Dinwiddie of Raleigh; daughter, Crystal Sparks and her husband Jonathan of Thurmond; step sons, Bobby West of State Road and Andy West of Henderson; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the US National Guard Honor Guard.
