Vicky Lynne Wilmoth Nixon

Mrs. Vicky Lynne Wilmoth Nixon, age 56, passed away January 24, 2016 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Nixon was born July 16, 1959 in Surry County to Clarence Eugene and Betty Money Wilmoth.

Mrs. Nixon attended Union Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Keith Wilmoth; maternal grandparents, John and Millye Money and paternal grandparents, James Calvin and Effie Jane Wilmoth.

Survivors include: her husband, Gregory Curtis Nixon of the home; mother, Betty Wilmoth of Thurmond; son, Nathan Gregory Nixon of Thurmond; daughter, Candy Dawn Lineberry and husband Lee of Thurmond; brother, Alvin Eugene Wilmoth of Thurmond; brother-in-law, Jeffery Neal Nixon of Thurmond; sister-in-law, Katherine Minton and husband Donny of Thurmond; grandchildren, Mika Lynne Lineberry and Charly Danielle Lineberry.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at  Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Tony White officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
