Ralph Edward Winters

June 26, 1942 — May 10, 2004

Mr. Ralph Edward Winters, age 61, of Park Circle Drive, Jonesville, passed away Monday, May 10, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Winters was born June 26, 1942 in Surry County to Arthur & Mae Evans Winters. Ralph was a hard worker and dedicated employee for 21 years with A.T. Williams Oil Company. Mr. Williams attended Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and loved spending time with his wife, children and great grandchildren. He was a man of all trades and especially loved woodworking and crafts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Bryan Christopher Winters. Survivors include: his wife Eunice P. Winters of the home; two sons, Keith Edward Winters and wife Diane of Kernersville, Darron Winters and wife Allison of Boonville; a daughter, Penny Melissa Winebarger and husband Danny of Elkin; a sister, Shirley York of Jonesville, three grandchildren, Dusten Winebarger, Angelyn Winters and Carson Thomas Winters; two step grandchildren, Michelle Jones and Kevin Jones. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 13, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. J. P. Sizemore. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm at Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin. The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church. Hodges Funeral Home in Elkin is serving the Winters family.
