Arabella River Elisabeth Johnson

Arabella River Elisabeth Johnson, age 1, of Hamptonville, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Arabella was born July 28, 2024 in Surry County to Cheyanna Elisabeth Parude.

Arabella was a calm quiet child with an infectious smile that would light up a room everywhere she went. Her presence will be missed by everyone that was in her life.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother Cynthia Johnson.

Survivors include: Her mother of Black Mountain; an uncle, Dakota Cave; grandmother Kathy Johnson; great grandfather Stephen Johnson; great uncle Stephen Johnson, II and wife Sara, great aunt Stephanie Johnson and her husband Matt Pate; and cousins, Stephen Johnson, III, Shane Johnson, Shayden Johnson, Addie Randleman, Carson Randleman, Bentley Pate and Dawson Pate.

The family will conduct a memorial service at a later date.
