Arthur William Roberts
May 5, 1939 — August 29, 2024
Mr. Arthur William Roberts, age 85, of Elkin, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Roberts was born in Wilkes County on May 5, 1939, to Charlie and Betsy Kimmer Roberts.
Arthur will be remembered for his love for woodwork and dedication to his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Roberts.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Frankie Boyd Roberts; son Rickey Roberts (Teresa Houston); daughter Theresa Holcomb and husband Dean; brother Clifford Roberts; grandchildren Tyler Holcomb and Bethany Roberts.
A graveside service will be held at Hollywood Cemetery on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Mickey York officiating.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
