Brenda Kay Mounce White

Brenda Kay Mounce White went to be with her Savior on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem; she was surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was born in Surry County to Kearney and Nell Wall Mounce. She loved her flower garden, took great care of her home, was active in her community, and attended church regularly. Brenda cherished every moment spent with her dear husband, Timothy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Timothy Ray White; sons, Brian White and Greg White; brother, Wade Mounce; sister, Raydell Newman; and her beloved grandchildren, Blaine White, Emily Schiermeister, and Mattie White. She will also be missed by her great-grandchildren, Sofia, Harvey, Aubrey, and Maddie.

A funeral service will be held at Bessie’s Chapel Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Ralph Grose officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, and interment will follow in the church’s cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Blaine White, Westley Schiermeister, David Mounce, Johnathan Mounce, Tim Whitaker, and Rusty Quesinberry.
