Betty Wagoner Finney

Mrs. Betty Lee Wagoner Finney, age 88, of Jonesville passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Finney was born on October 23, 1938 in Yadkin County to Carmel and Ruby Luffman Wagoner.

Mrs. Wagoner was a faithful member of Central Full Gospel Church. She loved to sew, craft, and was an excellent cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Desmond Finney, and an infant brother.

Survivors include: her brother, Monroe Wagoner and wife Mary Ann of Elkin, sisters-in-law, Pauline Finney and Barabra Finney, both of Jonesville, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Central Full Gospel Church with Rev. Bobby Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the church.
