Betty Crouse Holsclaw

Mrs. Betty Jo Crouse Holsclaw, age 74, of Rural Hall, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Holsclaw was born on June 19, 1951, to Ernest Paul and Ima Mae Hinson Crouse in Elkin. She was a member of Gid Branch Baptist Church and was a loving grandmother.

Mrs. Holsclaw was preceded in death by her husband, Birt Holsclaw, and brothers, Donny and Dicky Crouse.

Survivors include: a son, Donald Holsclaw of Rural Hall; daughters, Paula Burgess of State Road and Jennifer Holbrook of Jonesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken and Cindy Crouse of Millers Creek and Gary and Pam Crouse of Seattle, Washington; a sister, Sue Manning of Dobson; grandchildren, Stephanie Childress, Amber Pierce, Donny Holsclaw, Ashley Holbrook, Kara Smith, and Hope Holbrook; 10 great-grandchildren, and serveral nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Gid Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Royal and Rev. Bobby Lyles. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 pm at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
