Calvin Knapp

Calvin Henry Knapp, III, age 64, of Roaring River, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville.

Calvin was born on February 6, 1962, in Lorain County, Ohio to Calvin Henry II and Geraldine Lee Knapp .

Calvin was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, RC cars, and spending time with his dogs.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: sons Chad Knapp and wife Erin of East Bend, Calvin Knapp IV and wife Taylor of Palm Harbor, FL, a daughter, Jamie Boggs and husband Daniel of Bluemont, VA; brothers, Phillip Knapp and wife Dawn of Pinellas Park, FL, and Dale Knapp of Pinellas Park, FL; sisters Connie Doll of Roaring River and Debbie Beason of Pinellas Park, FL; five grandchildren: Brantley Lovejoy, Maximus Boggs, Connor Knapp, Caleb Knapp, and Emery Knapp; close friends, Sam Ledford and Edsel.

The family would like to thank The Cancer Care team and Mountain Valley Hospice, for their care and support during this difficult time, and God from whom all blessing flow.
