David George Kingston

Mr. David George Kingston, age 83, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. David was born on September 30, 1942, in Tunkhannock, PA to David Ingram and Emiline Ida Mock Kingston.

Mr. Kingston was a member of Grace Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro. David enjoyed spending his time trout fishing, golfing and working in his garden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his wife, Christine Kingston; son, David Kingston; brothers, Alfred and Gary Kingston; sisters, Carol, Edith, Patricia and Kathy.

Survivors include: daughters, Marie Kingston Kern and husband Tom of Trumbauersville, PA, Donna Kingston Noble of Nicholson, PA, and Tammy McCoin and husband Tim of Elkin; son, Dwayne Bauguess and wife Mandy of Roaring River; brother, Herb Kingston and wife Jean; grandchildren, Robert Fitssimmons, Jr., Andrew Kingston, Steven Scales, Scheryl Scales, Jamie Napoli, Christopher Kingston, Anthony and Jessica Bauguess, Jeremy and Jamie Bauguess, Lindsay and Dylan Speaks, Haley Sullivan and Hannah Winbarger; great-grandchildren, Rylin Scales, Colton, Gracie and Benjamin Bauguess and twins on the way, Jacob, Joel and Joy Bauguess, Elijah, Luke, and Nathan Speaks, Lily and Liam Sullivan, and Hunter, Hayden, and Hudson Winebarger.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, North Wilkesboro with Pastor Stephen Seaford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
