Edith R Luffman

Edith Virgina Roberts Luffman, age 91, of Ronda, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin.

Edith was born on December 10, 1932, in Wilkes County to Maurice Roberts and Pauline Shores Roberts. She was a lifelong member of the Union Baptist Church. She was also a member of the choir for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brent Harvey Luffman; two brothers, Kenneth Robberts and A.C Roberts.

Survivors include: her sons, Brent Allen Luffman and Timmy Dean Luffman; two sisters, Clara Dene Adams, Martha Jean Luffman; grandchildren, Amanda Church and husband Jacky, Brian Luffman, Wendy Burnette and husband Chris; nine great- grandchildren, Kali, Kourtlyn, Brandon, John and Pascal, Bubba, Brooke, Brandon, Violet, and Ava.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2 PM at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Pardue officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Elkin Funeral Service.
