Glenda Huckabee Mcswain

Glenda Huckabee McSwain, 72, of Elkin, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 17, 2024. She was born in York County, South Carolina, on November 1, 1951.

She had an excellent style for fashion and makeup and always wanted to look her best. Glenda loved cooking and baking, watching soap operas, and playing with her cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Crosby McSwain, and a brother, Clay Huckabee.

Glenda's love for her family was immeasurable. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Knight of Elkin; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin McSwain and wife, Melissa of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, William Knight and wife Heather, Glenda Knight, Pennelopi McSwain, Natalie McSwain, Kassidy McSwain; and great-granddaughter, Zaraya Wittrell.
