Mrs. Jackie Greene Anderson, age 78, formerly of Elkin, passed away on December 24, 2023, at Genesis Alleghany Center in Sparta.
Jackie was born in Wilkes County on November 25, 1945, to James Robert Anderson and Hattie Bell Greene.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Anderson.
Survivors include: stepson, Steven Clark, and wife, Robin, of Wilkesboro; sisters-in-law, Jean Anderson and Judy Zielinski of Minnesota; and several other family members.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Chris White officiating.
