James Ray Davis

James Ray Davis, age 84, of Jonesville, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his residence.

He was born, September 13th, 1941 to Albert and Betty Glover Davis .

Mr. Davis was a member of the Trinity Christian Center. He was carpenter in his professional life, work that he found rewarding. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son David Ray Davis.

Survivors include: his wife Rose Tucker Davis, of the home; and a brother Tommy Davis and wife Naomi of Wilson.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Elkin Funeral Service Chapel, with Pastor John Cox officiating. Interment will follow at the Island Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Elkin Funeral Service.

The family would like to thank the youth of the Trinity Christian Center, Chad Shore, Jason Brown and their neighbors for their love and support during this difficult time.
