James F. Patton

Mr. James “Jim” Francis Patton, Jr., age 89, formerly of Barnsboro, NJ passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC. Mr. Patton was born May 28, 1931 in Camden, NJ to James Francis and Pearl Branin Patton, Sr.

Jim was a former teacher and principal at Delaware Valley Junior Academy in Deptford; former nurse at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden; paramedic and coordinator with the MICU at the former Underwood Memorial Hospital. He was a former member of the Woodbury Seventh Day Adventist Church.

After retirement, Jim enjoyed his garden, canning, yardwork, and spending time with his friends and family. Jim loved his lord and enjoyed sharing Him with those he met.

Mr. Patton is survived by his wife, Lynne of the home; his children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Mr. Patton will be interned at Erial Community Church Cemetery in Erial, NJ.
