Joann Wolfe Dudley

Mrs. Joann Nance Wolfe Dudley, age 89, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her residence in Jonesville.  Joann was born, July 28, 1933 in Yadkin County to Thurman and Edith Taylor Nance.

She loved and enjoyed her 13 grandchildren and 27 great- grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Wolfe and Melvin Dudley; sister, Mary Lou Robertson; brother, Richard Nance; step-daughter, Shirley Sprinkle; granddaughter, Brooke Wolfe; great-granddaughters, Riley and Sophie Adkins; great-grandson, Leonardo Mazza.

Survivors include: sons, Ralph Edward Wolfe and wife Sharon, Timothy Allen Wolfe and wife Gwen, Michael Todd Wolfe and wife Christine; daughter, Sherry Ann Wiles and husband Danny; step-sons, Calvin Dudley and wife Vickie, Mickey Dudley and wife Melynda; step-daughters, Barbara Ann Jester and husband Jackie, Bobbie Jean Willard, Kay Hobson; sisters, Faye Buie and husband David, Christine Ashley and husband Roy; sister-in-law, Zella Nance.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Tim Wolfe and Rev. Dan Buie officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Cemetery in Jonesville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral service.
