Joyce Lee Cave Nance

Mrs. Joyce Lee Cave Nance, age 90, of State Road, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on January 10, 1936, in Surry County to Grady and Martha Poteat Cave.

Mrs. Nance was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was active when she was able.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ervin A. Snow; second husband, William Nance; a son, Benny Snow; a brother, Thomas G. Cave; and daughters-in-law, Nancy Snow and Leslie Snow.

Survivors include: sons, Teddy Ervin Snow and wife Janet of State Road and Jeffery Gray Snow of State Road; a sister, Nora L. Adams and husband William of State Road; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Whitley officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
