Keith Ray Phillips

Mr. Keith Ray Phillips, age 72, of Yadkinville passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem.

Keith was born June 28, 1951 in Surry County to Eugene Gwyn Phillips, Jr and Ruth Reece Phillips.  Keith was a retired auto paint specialist.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Phillips and a sister, Peggy Carter.

Survivors include:  His mother, Ruth Reece Phillips of Greensboro, a daughter, Nikki Johnson and husband Chas of Ronda, brother-in-law, Gary Carter of Jonesville, two grandchildren, Sydney Johnson and Jacob Johnson and a special niece, Melissa Carter Cato of Greensboro.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Melissa Cato officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

The family would like to extend a very special thanks to the staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, the staff of ICCU and the staff of the palliative care unit at Forsyth Medical Center for the love and care given to Keith during his illness.
