Kevin Scott Caudill

Kevin Scott Caudill, age 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at his home in Santa Rosa, California. Kevin had spent the last 30 years in California working in the IT field. He was a Senior Manager for Workday Integrations at Electronic Arts Sports for the past 26 years. Kevin was both a dedicated and hard-working employee who gave it his all when it came to getting the job done right.

Kevin had a special place in his heart for the outdoors, beginning with his early years as a Boy Scout in Troop 686 in the Pleasant Ridge Community in State Road, NC. Years later, he enjoyed many trips, both for vacation and volunteer work trips, at Yosemite National Park, his “go-to” place.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, James Winfrey Caudill, and mother, Margaret Shepherd Caudill. Kevin is survived by his brother, Craig Steven Caudill, and wife Robin of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Also surviving are his two nephews, Steven James Caudill of Winston-Salem, NC, and Adam Reid Caudill, and wife McKenna, of Charlotte, NC. Kevin is also survived by and was blessed with having had the most trusted and loyal friend that anyone could ever ask for, Mrs. Cynthia Bazlamit Shrauner (Baz) and family of San Francisco, CA.

Kevin will be returned home and interred at his final resting place at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, State Road, NC, next to his parents. No formal visitation will be held at this time. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.

The family would like to say a very special “Thank You” to Mrs. Cynthia Shrauner and her family for being such loyal and trusted friends and confidants for Kevin for many years, and for all the time and help for both Craig & Robin during this difficult time.
