Larry Dean Smith

Mr. Larry Dean Smith, age 76, of Elkin passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

Larry was born June 19, 1948 in Surry County to George W Smith, Jr and Sarah Peggy Tilley Smith.  Larry was of the Baptist faith and an avid deer hunter.  He will always be remembered as a great neighbor, friend and was always willing to help anyone who needed help.

In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by a sister Betty Smith Blevins and a brother in law, Jerry Blevins.

Survivors include many cousins, neighbors and friends.

At Larry’s request there will be no services.
