Libuše "Libby" Vlasta Kapelari

Mrs. Libuše Vlasta Kapelari, age 93, of Elkin, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at Willowbrook Rehabilitation and Care Center in Yadkinville.

Mrs. Kapelari was born December 16, 1929 in Přestiće, Czechoslovakia to Josef Fremr and Libuše Klauber.

She was a member of the Non-Denominational Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Kapelari was preceded in death by her husband Frank Kapelari and a sister Stania Lacho.Survivors include:  a son Frank Kapelari and his wife Janet of Alaska, daughters Libby Spencer of Texas, and Ann Peterson and husband Harry of Elkin; a sister Dasha Fremr of the Chez Republic; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at her hometown in Connecticut.
