Phillip Richard Darnell

Mr. Phillip Richard Darnell, age 83, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Darnell was born December 11, 1939.

Mr. Darnell was a member of Ronda Baptist Tabernacle and was the owner of Cool Springs Meat Processing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Darnell was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Darnell.

Survivors include: his wife of 65 years, Nancy Barker Darnell of the home; sons, Dennis Darnell and wife Sherry of Boonville, Alvin Darnell of Ronda; grandchildren Nichole Green, Phillip Darnell, Kandice Darnell, Codie Royal; and great-grandchildren, Fisher Green and Enslee Royal.

A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Ronda Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery with Dr. Danny Dodds officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
