Randy Lee Carter

Mr. Randy Lee Carter, age 68, of Roaring River passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his home. He was born May 26, 1953 in Buford County, Georgia to Billy David Carter and Elsie Virginia Terry Carter. Randy was retired from American Drew.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary L. Carter.

Survivors include: his son, Donal Carter and his wife Olivia of Elkin; step daughter, Julie Burnell and her husband Michael of Roaring River; brothers, Larry Carter and his wife Maxine of Elkin, Lanny Carter and his wife Debbie of Elkin and Terry Carter and his wife Malynda of Elkin; grandchildren, Austin Duncan, Rylee Carter, Blakely Carter and Oliver Carter.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Stony Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Johnson officiating.
