Randy Howard Crabb

Mr. Randy Howard Crabb, age 58, of Hamptonville, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Crabb was born on March 9, 1968, in Wilkes County to Raymond and Brenda Sue Sprinkle Crabb Jr.

Mr. Crabb was an active member of Mountain View Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking chicken, hunting, and fishing. Professionally, he was a rural carrier for State Road with the United States Postal Service. He also served as the president of the local union (NRLCA).

Mr. Crabb was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Lisa Ann Crabb.

Survivors include: his wife, Mandy B. Crabb of the home; father, Raymond Crabb Jr. of Traphill; son, Zachary Crabb and wife Kasey of Newton; daughter, Kinsey Crabb and husband Griffin Wheeler of Traphill; and a grandson, Dalton James “DJ” Crabb. 

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. David Childress and Rev. Joel Belvins officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mountain View Baptist Church Building Fund, 1232 Mountain View Church Rd. Hamptonville, NC 27020.
