Richard Orlando Bernabe, Jr.

Mr. Richard Orlando Bernabe, Jr., age 84, of Boonville passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at his residence. Mr. Bernabe was born November 10, 1941 in Fairfield, NJ to Richard Orlando, Sr. and Eleanore Hollis Bernabe.

Mr. Bernabe was a Marine Corp Veteran and a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen Bernabe of the home; sons, Richard Allen Bernabe of Greer, SC, James Edward Bernabe and wife Judi of Lewisville and Daniel Patrick Bernabe and wife Amy of Midway; brother, Orlando Bernabe of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Allison Bernabe Daniel Bernabe and Mia Bernabe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
