Ronnie Shirrell Pardue

Ronnie Shirrell Pardue, 73, of Ronda, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Ronnie was born September 5, 1951, in Iredell County to Ralph and Minnie Pardue.

Ronnie was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was a loving father and grandfather, and he loved going to auctions.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Kay Pardue, and a brother, Harold “Doodlebug” Pardue.

Ronnie is survived by his two sons, Barry Pardue and his wife Shannon of State Road and Gary Pardue and his wife Lisa of Ronda, grandchildren; Miranda Burch, Sammi Pardue & Hope, Caden Pardue, Lyndsey Myers & Tyler, Bella Wilmoth, Katlynn & Blake Wishon, Courtney Peavy-McCann & Crystal, Timothy & Stephanie McCann, Anna & Eli Thompson, Chelsey Prevette, great grandchildren; Leanna Burch, Brianna Burch, Sparrow-Leigh Pardue, Zella Rae Fosner, Raelynn Myers, T.J. Myers, Lane Wishon, Aleah Wishon, Elijah Thompson, nephews; Adam Pardue, Jesse Pardue, sister-in-law, Jennette Pardue and his special best friend for over 50 years, Norlan Holcomb.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Nick Sutherland officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, April 14, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service.
