Tina Denise Galyean

Tina Denise Galyean, 58, passed away on Friday, January 23, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born on January 3, 1968, in Wilkesboro to Albert McKinley and Geretha Ann Handy.

Tina was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and was known for her love of music, makeup, dirt racing, and the time she cherished with her grandchildren. Her personality was vibrant, and she found joy in the simple moments spent with those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: her daughter and son-in-law, Morgan and Nathan Shumate; her sister, Shauna Handy; her grandchildren, Maverick Shumate, Jade Shumate, Ivy Shumate, and Beau Riggans; and her best friend, Tammy Hudspeth.
