Tommy Eugene Wilmoth

Mr. Tommy Eugene Wilmoth, age 70 of Thurmond, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at his residence. Tommy was born October 7, 1953 in Wilkes County to Homer and Pauline Collins Wilmoth.

Tommy worked as a carpenter for several years and fixed lawnmowers and weed eaters; he has a gift for fixing things. He enjoyed his grandchildren and family get-togethers; he always made someone smile or laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jack Wilmoth, and granddaughter Emily Tilley.

Survivors include: daughter Melissa Wilmoth; brothers Ricky Wilmoth and his wife Lynn of Thurmond, Roger Wilmoth of Galax; sister Gaynell Anderson of Elkin; grandchildren Matthew Riley, Tyler Riley, Chloe Tilley, Hailey Tilley, Dillon Tilley, Paysley Southard, and Baysley Southard; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date.
