Vicky Cranford Goins

Mrs. Vicky Cranford Goins, 69, of State Road, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Surry County on November 3, 1956, she was the daughter of Ira Gene and Margie Edith Harris Cranford.

Vicky was an angel in the lives of those who were blessed to know her, a loving and devoted wife, and a caregiver who touched many lives through her warm and loving presence. She was a member of Trinity Worship Center in Jonesville and a devoted Christian who lived for the Lord and her family. She worked for many years as a truck driver and as head of housekeeping at the Comfort Inn Jonesville. Vicky greatly enjoyed her life on the farm with her husband and animals, and spending time with her church friends and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Christine Kingston and Karen Elledge; her brother, Jimmy Cranford; and her stepdaughter, Angela Goins Miller.
Survivors include her loving husband, Clyde Goins of State Road; sons, Mark Goins of State Road and Joshua Goins and wife Amanda of Mt. Airy; daughter, Kala Harris of State Road; brother, Micheal Cranford and wife Tammy; sisters, Shirley Hinson of State Road, Opal Holsclaw of Elkin, and Brenda Holsclaw of Boonville; and grandchildren, Stephen Mikels, Bradley Mikels, Ashley Hayes, Shelia Coppersmith, Emily Goins Towe, Steven Tyler Goins, Eli Harris, Elaina Harris, Lyllith Mikels, Isabelle Mikels, John Mikels, Justice Hayes, and Ariel Hayes.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2026, at Trinity Worship Center in Jonesville, with Rev. Diane Conley and Rev. Tommy Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Central Full Gospel Church Cemetery in State Road.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before the funeral service.
