Walsie Deette Mastin Reynolds

Walsie DeEtte Mastin Reynolds, age 76, of Ronda, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Hugh Chatham Health Hospital.

Walsie was born September 27, 1947 in Surry County to Walter Lee Mastin, Sr. and DeEtte Dee Blevins Mastin.

Walsie was a member of Ronda First Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Richard Charlie “Dickie” Mastin and a brother-in-law Garry Luffman.

Survivors include:

a son, Bradley Ray Reynolds of State Road, daughters, Kathy Crouse and husband Rick of State Road, Billye Carter and husband Wayne of Elkin; a brother Walter Mastin, Jr. and Linda of State Road, a sister Kay Mastin Luffman of Elkin; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Crouse Campbell and husband Brett, Brayden Reynolds, Samantha Carter, Alexa Carter, Brylee Reynolds and Caleb Crouse; and two great-grandchildren, Reece Campbell and Savannah Campbell.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday, October 6, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Lee Mastin and Pastor Ricky Crouse officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be private at Ronda Cemetery.
