Mrs. Gayle Renegar Atkinson, age 72, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017.  She was born October 28, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to Reuben Renegar and Mary Isaacs Renegar.  Mrs. Atkinson was retired from LifeStore Insurance in Elkin. Survivors include: her son, Joseph Atkinson; and sister Carolyn Willis. A private inurnment service is planned for a later date.
